My name is Brittani. I am the founder of the EndureLV treatment center in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have been in the substance abuse treatment field since 2009 and learned at a rapid pace about the disease of addiction. At nearly every intake, I get asked the daunting question “Are you addicted? Did you go through this?” I often hesitate to say that I am not in recovery from drugs and alcohol because my journey still led me to needing the same thing you do, and that is an deeper understanding of how to cope with the world around me without the desire to self-destruct. I didn’t need drugs and alcohol to get to my lowest point and for that I feel grateful and lucky. The journey to a happier, more fulfilling life was my goal, and I believe it is yours as well. Being in recovery isn’t just about quitting drugs or alcohol, for most, it is necessary to survive. For the lucky ones that aren’t addicted and can recognize the gifts recovery brings, they will be in a fortunate group that can utilize these gifts and pass it on for generations to come and prevent the cycle from starting. I may fall into that category, I may not, I may have this nasty disease lying dormant waiting for the perfect vulnerable moment like it does to many others. I hope to never take it for granted.
After many years of working in the treatment industry, I saw various components of recovery get neglected. I saw families and clients get frustrated with treatment not being the end to their suffering. The truth is, recovery is a long-term life-long commitment, and treatment is supposed to prepare you for that. It isn’t just about quitting; it’s changing how you think, dealing with how you feel, and loving who you are. These are three things I had to do to create a happier life for myself. Addict or not, we are both here with the same goal so I hope you can trust me on your journey.
I created this program in an effort to address not only the mind, body, and soul, but also the action piece. If you don’t take action on the necessary steps you will not be successful, and treatment will just be another round. The curriculum is designed to empower you to take action on these components on your own time, outside of treatment. First to connect with yourself which will lead to a connection with others. And to get FIT! I want to create a safe place to give you Faith In Tomorrow (FIT). I believe that fitness of the mind, fitness of the body, and fitness of the soul will get you there.
